At FUNKO Shop, we take pride in delivering high-quality collectibles to our global community of collectors. However, we understand that sometimes an item might not meet your expectations. Our returns policy is designed with collectors in mind – simple, fair, and collector-focused.
Collector’s Note: Due to the nature of collectible items, opened action figures, collectible surprise toys, and adaptive toys cannot be returned unless defective. All returns must include original packaging for collectible figures and dolls.
Returns & Exchanges Process
- Initiate Your Request: Email our collector support team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your item. Use the subject line “Return Request: [Your Order Number]”.
- Provide Details: Include photos of the item (especially for defective collectibles) and your reason for return.
- Receive Authorization: Our team will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and an RMA number.
- Ship Your Return: Package the item securely (we recommend using the original packaging for collectible figures) and include all original accessories.
- Inspection & Processing: Once received, our team will inspect the item within 3-5 business days.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your protection.
Refund Information
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
- Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Deductions: Original shipping fees are non-refundable, and a restocking fee may apply for opened collectibles returned without defects.
Exchange Requests
For exchanges (size, color, or different collectible figure):
- Follow the standard return process
- Clearly state your desired exchange item in your email
- We’ll ship the new item once the original is received (additional shipping charges may apply)
Non-Returnable Items
To protect our collector community, these items cannot be returned unless defective:
- Opened collectible surprise toys (blind boxes, mystery packs)
- Personalized doll clothes & accessories
- Adaptive toys with hygiene components
- Digital downloads or virtual items

Damaged or Defective Items
If your collectible arrives damaged or defective (especially important for limited-edition figures):
- Do not open the packaging further
- Take clear photos showing the damage
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- We’ll typically send a replacement if available, or issue a full refund
